Pupdate: about...Siri
Who is Siri?
My human was feeding me the other day and she suddenly stopped, bowl hovering just out of reach, and said, "Hey Siri, add dog food to the shopping list."
Then, as if a spell had been broken, she put the bowl down and went off to clear the breakfast table.
This is not the first time I have observed this puzzling behaviour.
My human has called on 'Siri' to set alarms, call people, tell her the weather and all sorts of other random things.
Perhaps the strangest and most worrying thing about this is that when she talks to Siri, THERE IS NO ONE THERE.
(And yes, it is clear she isn't talking to me. Owners very rarely call dogs by their actual names, I know this well).
I'll admit I am concerned for my human's health. Although her requests to Siri seem sensible enough (we do need more dog food), I am pretty sure that talking to someone who isn't there is not considered a good thing among humans.
I have set it as my mission to investigate this strange behaviour.
My first step is to speak to as many other dogs as possible to find out if this phenomenon has been witnessed by others.
I will keep you posted about my findings.
Stay Alpha,
Fox
PS – an important update. Dog food DID NOT come in the shopping this weekend. The plot thickens!
