Give me silly!

Recently, I created a custom pet portrait journal for the beautiful Pug, Ralf.

Ralf's mum sent in two pictures: one where he was sitting demurely, the other lolling with his legs splayed.

I could tell from her message that she thought his silly pose might be tricky to capture, but that was the one she really wanted.

She wanted it because that was how Ralf often sat. He was not a demure fella, he liked to get comfortable.

I drew the 'silly' pose on a lilac background, to bring out the colour of his eyes. He looked stunning.

It was Ralf at his best: being his unique and beautiful self. Exactly as he should be.
