Little acts...
Yesterday, the local library was full of young people pouring over books and screens. It's exam season again.
I remember that internal fight so well: trying so hard to concentrate and ignore the impulse to freak out.
This bit, just before the exams begin, was always the worst. When the revision starts getting tedious, but your brain needs to stay focused.
I survived through little acts of defiance: quiet spaces to hide, daydreaming (a lot!) and buying colourful pens and notebooks: Things to help me feel more like ... me.
My younger self would have loved our new notebook collection: cute dogs, bright colours and a funny message to remind you you don't always have to be like everyone else.
If you know a dog lover whose buried in their books and needs a little pick-me-up, why not treat them to something light and bright to keep their spirits up on the final straight?
It's amazing what a fresh blank page can do to inspire...
