These days, you can celebrate your pet in every way thinkable. You can commission professional photography, artist’s drawings, even a cushion with their face on.

So, why would you need a story about them?

Personally, I’m not one for surrounding myself with pet-related gifts. I prefer to focus on enjoying our time together. Yet, there is something that nags at me: the knowledge that, one day, we will have to say goodbye.

When that happens, it won’t be the photos, the drawings or the cushions I crave, but the closeness we shared: those little moments that added up to something wonderful.

That’s why I think pet stories matter.

Stories are living things: they adapt and grow. They have the power to change minds, ease sorrow, bring joy. They don’t just capture individual moments, but a life lived together.

Above all, stories don't end. They are shared and passed on. Isn’t that what all pet-lovers wish for: for their pet to remain?
