Who we are

We are a neurodiverse family of storytellers, animal lovers, and communicators.

We are training an autism assistance dog (Snow, the Golden Retriever) and we are being trained by a wilful and loving pup (Fox, the Cavapoo)!

We think that the ways people communicate with their pets offer great examples of how humans might better understand different experiences and points of view.

Our aims

We have two aims: to create unique and meaningful keepsakes to help you celebrate your pets, and to write quirky and heartfelt stories that open up conversations about wellbeing, difference and emotions.

Why we do this

We have been lucky enough to experience first-hand how how pets can support us to regulate, communicate and operate in our often overwhelming world.

We want everyone, whether they have animals in their lives or not, to benefit from these connections.

Our animal books do just that – they explore emotion and feelings through animal connections.

Our books do not advise or instruct, but open up conversations.

How we operate

Our books are inspired by our community, without whom we could not operate.

By joining as a member and sharing your stories and photographs, you can help us to develop heartfelt animal stories that support our readers to unlock their emotional understanding – from seeing the world from a different point of view, to learning to live with the loss of a loved one.

Our social enterprise

We are a social enterprise.

We reinvest our profits back into the community by engaging in literacy projects for children who are home educated, out of school and/or have special education needs.

We also support animal charities that share our ethos about how the human-animal connection can improve wellbeing and regulate emotion.
